Last November, after a sitting President had preached in the pulpit at America's Freedom Church that Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. had shared with his father, the Arlington Democrats joined the Arlington NAACP outside a closed courthouse on a Sunday, forgetting the Sabbath, to keep it unholy, and lead souls to the polls. And now that Not Afraid to Burn in Hell Don Beyer, Jr., has announced his miraculous conversion experience (Can I get a witness?), returning to church for worship and prayer, the VA8 Democrats have decided to take a moment of silence, or elect such a right, regarding the status for the June primaries in which the incumbent was the only survivor to qualify on April 4th, weeks ago.
According to the official website:
“Congressman Don Beyer is serving his fifth term as the U.S. Representative from Virginia’s 8th District, representing Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, and parts of Fairfax County.”
However, silent as VA8 GOP, regarding their candidates who had failed to qualify for the primary ballot, only Ballotpedia informs anyone that an unknown, from out of state and perennial candidate has failed to make it to oppose the incumbent in June, but the VA8 Democrats have yet to nominate Beyer by acclimation, leaving many insiders speculating after the sudden decision by the Alexandria Mayor and a Circuit Court judge, embroiled in a legal scandal with the city prosecutor, to move on.
Maybe NOVA has decided to celebrate traditional family values. WHO knows. WHO can say.
